Ascension Bay Bonefish Club Fishing:
As the name implies, the turquoise waters of The Sian Kaan Biosphere Preserve are indeed rich with bonefish, but they are also teeming with snook and tarpon, and in fact, it’s the relentless pursuit of permit that keeps anglers coming back to this club year after year. Simply put, this operation has permit fishing as close to wired as possible, in part due to the fact that each party of two anglers also has two guides to assist in the hunt. With the senior guide working the pole of a custom 21-foot panga, and the assistant guide up front with the angler to aide in spotting and presenting to the fish, Ascension Bay Bonefish Club's (ABBC) formula has helped hundreds of anglers succeed in what is widely acknowledged at the ultimate saltwater challenge.
